Since the start of the 2021 school year, Europackwine has committed to planting a tree for every order placed on the Europackwine website via the Graine de vie website.
What is Seed of Life?

The NGO is dedicated to the protection, reforestation and reforestation based in several African countries, starting with Madagascar, then Togo, Benin, Cameroon and finally Ghana.
Graine de vie has been active since 2009, offsetting the ecological footprint left by the inhabitants of industrialized countries by planting trees in developing countries.
Creation of local nurseries
- To ensure the follow-up of reforestation, each site is set up as a local nursery with independent management. These nurseries have several aims:
- Offsetting C02 emissions : The NGO plants trees on a large scale, which naturally reduces CO2 emissions. What's more, it works with Madagascar to secure, protect and restore primary forests that have been razed en masse in the past.
- Raising awareness : The nurseries trained help to raise awareness among the local population of the dangers of deforestation and the importance of preserving nature and the environment. This is done through schools and local authorities.
- Fighting for women: Through these nurseries, Graine de vie helps to integrate women into the job market and combat female circumcision.
- Economy: Nursery staff (10 FTEs and 350 daily workers). All our employees are local, all Europeans are volunteers. What's more, we plant different varieties of trees that generate income (fruit, essential oils, building materials), and all this is done in a way that is sustainable and does not disrupt ecosystems.

144 species
Graine de vie fights to preserve diversity and local ecosystems.
35 000 000
The number of trees planted since 2009.
445 active employees
45 active members in Europe and 400 reforestation workers in Madagascar.
The average ecological footprint of a European is 10 tonnes of C02/year. The 35 million trees planted offset the CO2 emitted by 17,500 people every year (175,000 tonnes of CO2/year). We're delighted to be able to take part in the Graine de Vie project, so that this number can continue to grow, and so that we can make a direct contribution to ecosystems and the environment.
